JUST WHEN I THOUGHT I WAS AHEAD OF THE GAME

I remember the days where I use to bench press 350 lbs. and afterwards I would respond by yelling at the clouds in the sky. 
"Thank you Lord for giving me the strength of Hercules!"

Mysteriously, a voice echoed back from the clouds and said.  "Hey...if you want to kill yourself dumbass...go right ahead."
And I respond by saying.  "Yikes!"

The following morning, I sold all my weights in a yard sale and ordered a treadmill from a Sears and Roebuck catalog.

LATINO FITNESS

Boredom has a way of finding you when you're sitting down and doing absolutely nothing so to avoid this I am completely changing my lifestyle by taking a new hobby. 

I will start with a daily routine workout by using a pair of light weights and after giving it some thought, I decided to begin with a 1.75 liter bottle of Jose Cuervo Tequila Gold and a 1.5 oz shot glass.

Maybe I should make it two 1.5 oz shot glasses...one for me and leave the other one for Boredom when he finds my drunk ass and passed out!

THE RISKS OF SUCCESS

Science and Technology has made wonders in Space Travel, Modern Medicine, Education, Communication, Transportation and even Entertainment, unfortunately, it has equally harmed our Atmosphere, Human Health, Earth's Ecology, World Economics and the main foundation why Children today avoid the amazing awareness of outdoor living.

A Good Reason (Revised)

After many years of wine, women and song, I fell deeply in love for the first time, but she ultimately broke my heart and I remembered looking up into the sky with tears in my eyes asking. “Tell me why Lord...why should I live if I cannot find true love...but God never answered. 
  

As years moved forward, I began to use heavy drugs so much that I placed a gun to my head, but before I pulled the trigger, I looked up in the sky with tears in my eyes begging. “Tell me why Lord...why should I live if I cannot find true peace...but God never answered. 

As years moved forward, I became a lawman and met some of the most darkest monsters ever created in this green earth and as I carried a 6-year old in my arms, who was hurt and repeatedly raped by her own father, I looked up in the sky with tears in my eyes sobbing. “Tell me why Lord...why should I live if I cannot find justice for the true innocence...but God never answered. 
  

As years moved forward, I became ill and as the nurse inserted a needle in my arm, I looked around surrounded by misery, who were in the same medical condition, if not worse, and as they turned on the machine and reclined me in my chair, I looked out the window with tears in my eyes pleading. “Tell me why Lord...why should I live if I cannot find true happiness...but God never answered.
  

That afternoon, the bus brought me home and as they lowered me in my wheelchair, I heard someone from the doorsteps of my apartment say. “See Mia...I told you it was Da-Da!”  A 2-year old jumped on my lap and gave me a tight hug so tense that a feeling of true love, true peace, true innocence and true happiness rushed through my entire body. I laughed out loud and looked up in the sky with tears of joy in my eyes...then mysteriously, I heard a divine voice coming from the clouds in the sky...so slight that it whispered...”that’s why!”
